HOME LIFE CONSULTANT
I WANT TO HELP YOU FIND YOUR OWN FLOW, BOTH WITHIN YOURSELF AND IN YOUR HOME.
I started this chapter of my life as a burnt out therapist. Three years after getting my MA in Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa University in Boulder, CO, my big hearted approach to helping people was reaching a breaking point. I knew I need to find some balance, while keeping my desire to be of service alive. Interestingly, my intuition was telling me I needed to work with my body and give my mind and heart a break. This need for holistic service is what attracted me, back in August 2018, to apply to work for Lois cleaning houses. Little did I know the next step in my career would start with a toothbrush and some shower grout.
Domestic work has been a common thread in my life. I worked for two years in a Camphill community, where I learned how to clean, household, and work alongside adults with developmental disabilities. As a therapist, I met with people in their homes, creating “environments of sanity” to accompany more traditional psychotherapeutic approaches. I also just love being in the home. It’s where I feel comfortable, safe, and surrounded by the things that matter most.
I came on as Lois’s business partner in December 2019 with big dreams and a steep learning curve for being a business owner. Pursuing this business is the strongest and happiest I’ve felt in my whole life. I’m growing alongside people I trust and who inspire me with their growth. I’m tackling things that scare me, which has allowed me to feel more freedom in my life. I want to help you feel more of that. I want to help you find your own flow, both within yourself and in your home.
Lois and I have been through some tough stuff. We aren’t naive to the challenges life can bring, sometimes unexpectedly. We have navigated our own mental blocks, heartbreak, and stuckness. We draw from those experiences and the skills they gave us to offer you our life and home organization services.
Whatever state you find your heart and home, you're not alone. Let's address it together.
